EU calls on young to promote circular fashion #664

2023/07/02

The European Commission has launched a new campaign – ReSet The Trend – which aims to engage Europeans in the battle against fast fashion and raise public awareness about the EU Strategy for Sustainable and Circular Textiles.

ReSet The Trend points out that millions of tonnes of clothes are produced, worn and thrown away each year, equivalent to 11.3 kg per person, with the equivalent of a lorry load of clothes being burnt or buried in landfill every second.
