On February 19, Paris Good Fashion, in partnership with the civic tech platform Make.org, launched its second major citizen consultation, supported by a collective of industry players remarkable for its scale and representativeness: Etam Group, Galeries Lafayette, Groupe Eram, Karla Otto, Kiabi, Lacoste, Printemps, SMCP, and Le Bon Marché Rive Gauche, representing LVMH in France, with the group also participating at the international level.

For eight weeks, the consultation will be open in France and, for the first time, internationally in Italy, the United Kingdom, and the United States.

A central question drives the initiative: “How can we inspire people to dress ethically and sustainably?”

The goal is clear: to collectively identify concrete solutions that accelerate the transformation of the fashion industry—without giving up the joy of dressing well. To imagine a fashion that is more responsible, respectful, desirable, creative, and accessible.

A fashion that inspires.
A fashion that reflects who we are.
A fashion for our time.

A previous success that set change in motion

In 2020, Paris Good Fashion launched its first citizen consultation on the theme: “How can we act together for a more responsible fashion industry?”
With over 107,000 participants, 3,319 proposals, and 467,733 votes, the initiative achieved unprecedented success and led to tangible progress: expansion of the secondhand market, support for eco-design, development of hanger and polybag reuse and recycling, trials of reusable shipping parcels, and valorization of natural raw materials, among other results.

2026: a new milestone for a transforming industry

Six years later, the desire to go further has become undeniable. Driven by emerging technologies and growing consumer demand for accountability, the fashion sector is undergoing profound change. Consumers are no longer just clients—they are engaged actors, attentive to the impact of their choices.

It is in this context that, in 2026, a new collective was born: Paris Good Fashion, Make.org, and ten major fashion players joined forces to launch a second consultation, this time on an international scale.

An open consultation for everyone

Passionate individuals, experts, or simply concerned citizens—every voice counts. It is from this diversity of perspectives that the most relevant solutions will emerge.

Our shared message:
Propose. Vote. Act.
Let’s build the fashion of tomorrow—together.
