Glossary of fashion & sustainability

At the end of the citizen consultation, it became clear to everyone that a common language was needed in order to exchange and communicate on the same basis. Our working group is working on the creation of a glossary of "definitions and common standard concepts" in order to clarify and harmonize our uses.

Methodology

▶︎ Glossary:

◦ Identification of 4 major themes (sustainability and fashion, materials, certifications and labels, actors and initiatives) and more than 400 terms
◦ Bibliographic research
◦ Harmonization and validation of definitions

▶︎ Common standards:

◦ Listing of 12 key terms and concepts
◦ Bibliographic and semantic research
◦ Elaboration of the first bases of definitions
